We were glad to attend the TES SEND Show last week. Our highlights:
The Dyscalculia Network's visual representation through 'The Jenga Effect' to show how students need a secure maths foundation, and teachers must assess accurately to make lessons accessible, especially for SEND students.
Animate 2 Educate's overview of apps that support maths and cross-curricular learning, emphasising inclusive teaching through technology.
NASEN's reminder of how discouraging a school environment can feel for students with SEND and discussion of "inclusion by design".
Thanks to TES and all the speakers; it is always interesting to hear ideas for making maths accessible.
