MathsMakers is proud to be taking part in National Careers Week 2026 as an official Ambassador!
National Careers Week is a valuable opportunity to encourage young people to think about their futures, explore the wide range of pathways available to them, and start imagining what might be possible. At MathsMakers, this aligns closely with what we see every day in our work with students.
For many young people, confidence in maths plays a significant role in shaping how they view their options. When maths feels difficult or inaccessible, whole areas of further study and future careers can start to feel out of reach. Our aim is to change that narrative by helping students build confidence, develop resilience, and recognise their own potential.
Throughout National Careers Week, we’ll be celebrating the importance of aspiration and showing how strong foundations in maths can support a wide range of future pathways - from further education and apprenticeships to careers in STEM and beyond. Most importantly, we want young people to see that there isn’t just one “right” route, and that progress often starts with small steps and growing self-belief.
We’re excited to be part of a nationwide initiative that puts young people’s futures at the centre of the conversation and supports them in taking confident steps towards what comes next.
