As our partner schools finish for the term, our MathsMakers programmes are wrapping up too. 💙
Over the past few weeks, students have been taking part in small-group maths tutorials designed to build confidence, strengthen understanding and make it easier to ask questions.
Here’s what some of them told us they valued most:
“The smaller classes helped it feel easier to ask questions.”
“The way the tutor explained made me understand.”
“They explain the topics really well and target my weak points.”
“If you make a mistake, they walk you through the answers.”
“It helped me get more confident in topics I wasn’t sure about.”
Feedback like this reminds us why small groups, clear explanations and supportive tutors matter — especially for students who find maths challenging in a busy classroom.
