This week, reports from the Education Policy Institute (EPI) and FFT Education remind us of the persistent gaps in progress and attainment between disadvantaged students and their peers. Schools are doing what they can to provide some extra support for disadvantaged students. Yet most schools are under significant financial pressures, especially since the ending of the Department for Education funding within the National Tutoring Programme. Pupil Premium funding only stretches so far!
At MathsMakers, we use our own fundraising to offer significantly subsidised maths intervention programmes to schools so that disadvantaged students can benefit from extra free support. We offer SATs support, GCSE revision and transition programmes. We are currently expanding and keen to partner with new schools. Visit our website www.mathsmakers.org and contact us to discuss how we can tailor our offer to meet each school’s requirements.
