Rachel Wright (Chair)
Having had a successful 15 year career as a trader in investment banking, Rachel moved into the education sector where she spent 10 years teaching Mathematics up to and including Further maths A level. Other roles within the school included , Head of House and Director of Extra Curricular, which responsibilities included organising the school calendar as well as all school trips. Rachel is a primary school governor and enjoys playing bridge, golf and cycling.
Tamsin Grosvenor
Tamsin is a Head of Marketing with 15 years experience helping organisations, including the Financial Times, grow their brands and revenue globally. Having overcome a disadvantaged background, thanks to her education, she is passionate about helping people in similar situations gain confidence and success through learning and development. Tamsin is a graduate of Warwick University and Durham University Business School and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Mine Bayar
Mine has over 28 years of teaching mathematics experience at Key stage 3, GCSE and A Level including teaching ICT for 10 years. She obtained her national professional qualification for senior leadership (NPQSL) at Institute of Education (IoE). Mine has been head of mathematics for over 14 years and worked as a Specialist Leader of Education. She has a passion for teaching mathematics and making a difference in children’s and young adults lives.
Lara Stanley
Lara has had nearly 20 years experience in the charity sector, in a variety of roles around campaigns, public affairs and communications. She is currently a Public Affairs manager for Citizens Advice, influencing policy to help improve people's lives. She enjoys keeping active, travelling and reading.
Our founders, Helena Mullins and Michelle Lee, also serve as trustees.

In addition, we extend special thanks to Francoise Wagneur who helped develop MathsMakers and served as Chair of the Board of Trustees 2014-2021. We are also grateful to Gillian Roberts who served as trustee and Chair 2021-2023. Both Francoise and Gillian continue to be friends and supporters of MathsMakers.
